Revelation 11:3-14

BIG IDEA: Words and deeds are never cheap when they help people know Jesus.

When Jesus returns, will it be to rescue a few believers who have washed up after a typhoon of evil and are cowering in an upper room, or will His return bring to completion the rising tide of righteousness caused by the faithful words and deeds of a Spirit-empowered, prevailing church?

The Bible, especially Revelation, summons us to see everything from God’s perspective rather than humanly. In this case, like the 2 witnesses, God gives believers everything we need to fulfill our new creation mission, and even if our testimonies cause us to be trampled or killed, our labor is never vain in the Lord (cf. 1 Corinthians 15:50-58) who will ultimately resurrect believers as He did for Jesus.
